Nondenominational minister and chaplain, Rev. Layne Russell,
has specialized in wedding ceremonies since 1984 and has performed well
over a thousand weddings. Rev. Layne is regarded as one of the most experienced
and accommodating wedding ministers in Northern California. Layne's
confidence, calmness, and warmth are welcome qualities as brides and grooms go through
their wedding planning process, rehearsal, and wedding ceremony.
Rev. Layne, who is also an accomplished writer and poet, is creative,
flexible, and adept at customizing ceremonies to fit the
needs of each couple. Layne believes that a bride and groom
should feel personally touched by all the words in their ceremony.

It is common for those in the wedding party and guests as well to get a little teary as
she gently and warmly guides wedding couples through these special moments of
declaring and celebrating their love. Weddings for same sex couples, short notice weddings, very small weddings,
and vow renewals are all welcomed.
Rev. Layne's wedding ceremony services are available in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou counties
and in the specific areas of Redding, Anderson, Red Bluff, Whiskeytown Lake,
Shingletown, Shasta Lake, Shasta Dam, Dunsmuir, McCloud, Mt. Shasta, and Mt. Lassen. At times special
arrangements can be made for weddings taking place outside these areas.
